Match a Single Value in Multiple columns (Excel Tricks)
Hii All, After a long long time I am back. I always want to share some new things which may be useful for some or the others like me but due to busy schedule in my job I do not get time for the same. Anyways, today My friend asked a query that he want to match a Single Value in Multiple Columns of the source data and if it matches anywhere in the those columns it will bring the related cell value The below pic will clear more about his query. So it is bit tricky as normally you can use Excel Match formula in a single column, But with the Excel IfError Formula you can solve the issue. The formula is =INDEX(M5:M9,IFERROR(MATCH(D5,J5:J9,0),IFERROR(MATCH(D5,K5:K9,0),MATCH(D5,L5:L9,0)))) You can also download the example file by clicking below link.
